The Toro Company, through its Ventrac unit in Orrville, Ohio, seeks a paint line team member for a first-shift role. You will hang metal pieces on an automated line, apply powder coat, inspect and package finished parts, and help maintain a clean work area.

The position requires lifting up to 40 lbs and teamwork to meet daily production goals. Training is provided; benefits and a 401(k) program are offered. Shift is Monday–Friday, no weekends.

As a paint line team member you will work as a team in a fast-paced environment to ensure quality powder coated parts. The main job tasks are hanging metal product on an automated paint line and then inspecting and packing parts at the conclusion of the process.

Hours: first shift, Mon-Fri 5:30 am to 3:00 pm

Wage: $17 - $18/ hr depending on experience

What Will You Do?

• Apply powder coat to metal pieces
• Hang metal product on overhead hooks in a specific way to ensure an even coat of paint will be distributed
• Weekly maintenance of the department including vacuuming and wiping down equipment

What Do You Need?

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent school with relevant work experience
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. regularly and bend, squat, walk, reach overhead or stand for long periods of time
• Maintain high safety standards and be able do work in a fast paced environment
• Candidates must be able to collaborate effectively with other team members to help meet department goals and objectives
