Job summary

AAA-USA Inc is seeking an experienced Aircraft Painter to prepare parts, apply primers and topcoats, and ensure high-quality finishes on aerospace components. You will sand, mask, mix coatings, and correct paint defects following engineering specs.

Candidates must have at least 6 years in aircraft painting, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to read and follow written instructions in English. Travel and temporary relocation to Little Rock, AR are required.

Qualifications

• Six years of paint experience in aerospace manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare aircraft parts and assemblies for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation.
• Mix primers, sealants, and topcoats according to engineering specifications and manufacturer requirements.
• Apply primers, coatings, and finish paints using conventional and specialized spray equipment.
• Identify and correct paint defects, such as rough edges, inclusions, tape residue, overspray, etc., using industry standard methods and masking.
• Touch up sealant, screws, and panel edges to ensure smooth, uniform areas.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare aircraft parts and assemblies for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface preparation.


• Mix primers, sealants, and topcoats according to engineering specifications and manufacturer requirements.


• Apply primers, coatings, and finish paints using conventional and specialized spray equipment.


• Identifies and corrects paint defects, such as rough edges, inclusions, tape residue, overspray, etc.. using industry standard methods and means, masking to protect the surrounding areas during defect correction processes.


• Touches up sealant, screws, and panel edges ensuring the areas are smooth, uniform, and consistent.

Requirements:

• 6 Years Paint Experience.
