Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a delivery driver to transport products from store locations to customers. You will load, secure, and deliver items, ensure accuracy, and maintain vehicle readiness while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Responsibilities include following routes and schedules, completing delivery paperwork, working with attention to legal DOT requirements, and lifting up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) from a FMCSA DOT-listed examiner or be willing to obtain one within five business days of offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and complete reports

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements and delivered efficiently.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Complete required forms and delivery paperwork.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and on time.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare delivery reports and documents.
• Operate vehicles and equipment (cars, trucks, forklifts) as needed.
• Perform warehouse duties such as tinting and mixing customer orders
