Job summary

Moriroku-Technology-North-America- is seeking a General Associate to support the Paint department by inspecting and maintaining the quality of painted parts and ensuring safe, efficient production.

You will assist with surface prep, load/unload parts, mentor new hires, follow 5S principles, and work with the team to meet our quality standards.

• Production/manufacturing experience required or preferred.
• Strong commitment to quality and process discipline.
• Team-oriented with ability to mentor others.

Job description

Purpose of Position: The General Associate will contribute to the success of the Paint department by inspecting and maintaining the quality of our painted products for our customers. Ensure product quality and perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist with surface preparation including sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming materials
• Inspect painted parts or surfaces for defects and assist with touch-up or rework as needed
• Load and unload parts
• Mentor and train new hires and contingent associates to proper production standards and processes
• Expected to follow all safety, production, quality, and HR policies and procedures always and in a safe manner
• Utilize 5S principles to clean, organize, stock, and prepare your area for incoming shift
• Follow specific written and oral instruction
• Will perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Knowledge

Physical/Environmental Conditions:

• Stand/walk at least 8 hours a day
