Job summary

Regions is seeking an experienced Psychologist with an interest in and/or expertise with Pain Management to join our Interventional Pain Management team. The Pain psychologist - PhD/PsyD, LP will provide specialized psychological assessment and evaluation, consultation, education, and patient/family support, as necessary.

The position requires the practice and understanding of pain psychology with assessment of adult and geriatric patients. Special areas of focus include pain and trauma.

Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in psychology required.
  • Two years post-doctoral supervised experience for MN licensure.
  • MN licensure; board certification/eligibility in pain psychology preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, and manage staff for the pain psychology program.
  • Provide psychological assessment and evaluation for pain management.
  • Collaborate in multidisciplinary care with neurology, neurosurgery, spine and rehab teams.
  • Educate patients and families; support care as needed.
