Job summary

West Virginia University Health System seeks a full-time Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician specializing in Pain Management to work in Oakland, Maryland. The role emphasizes outpatient care, EMG reads, and comprehensive pain management strategies within a large, integrated health system.

The successful candidate will be board-certified or eligible in PM&R and must be eligible for Maryland state licensure.

Qualifications

• MD/MD-PhD or DO degree and eligibility for state medical license.
• Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at time of appointment.
• Experience providing care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide EMG reads, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for pain patients.
• Coordinate and manage patient workups with interventional and medical approaches.
• Deliver follow-up care and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
