Metro Health Clinic is seeking a dedicated full-time Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management to join our team at our state-of-the-art Surgical Center in Waterbury, CT. You will conduct thorough evaluations, diagnose pain-related conditions, and create tailored treatment plans to enhance patient well-being.

Join a multidisciplinary team and provide interventional pain care including nerve blocks and epidural injections, with focus on evidence-based strategies and patient education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with licensure to practice medicine.
• State medical license in good standing.
• Residency and fellowship training in Pain Management or related field.
• Board certification in Pain Medicine or related specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive pain evaluations and diagnose underlying conditions.
• Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans including interventional approaches.
• Monitor and adjust treatment plans for pain relief and functional improvement.
• Administer and supervise interventional pain management procedures (nerve blocks, epidurals).
• Educate patients and families on pain management techniques and self-care.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure continuity of care.
