Job summary

Staffing Care Pro in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a passion for pain management to join a growing outpatient practice on the Northside. This direct hire opportunity supports practicing at the top of your license.

You will evaluate patients with chronic and acute pain, develop individualized plans with supervising physicians, manage medications, and educate patients on pain goals and expectations.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license eligible in Indiana.
• Certification from an accredited NP or PA program.
• Previous experience in pain management, primary care, or musculoskeletal care preferred.
• Strong communication and patient management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a patient-centered team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments for chronic and acute pain conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
• Manage patient medications, including controlled substance therapy within regulatory guidelines.
• Provide patient education on pain management goals and expectations.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team members for optimal outcomes.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) and maintain compliance with clinic policies.
