Job summary

National Spine & Pain Centers in Ocala, FL seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift with no on-call. You will perform exams, manage follow-ups, and develop care plans under physician supervision while maintaining patient records and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Active and valid practitioner license.
• Master's Degree from an accredited program and NCCPA or AANPCP certification.
• DEA and NPI in the state of practice.
• Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Knowledge of EMR systems; Centricity and Modernizing Medicine preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient history and conduct physical examinations as assigned.
• Perform follow-up visits independently and per guidelines.
• Update records and verify accuracy at each appointment.
• Analyze test data to determine next steps and treatments.
• Develop care plans with physician supervision and assess responses.
• Deliver quality care while meeting productivity metrics.
• Educate patients and provide ongoing care information and guidance.
• Respond to medical emergencies following drug protocols.
