Clearway Pain Providers in Pensacola, FL seeks a Nurse Practitioner to evaluate, diagnose and manage patients’ pain issues, applying multimodal strategies including medications, interventional care, physical therapy and braces when appropriate, and to explain procedures and goals to patients.

Formación

• Must possess and maintain current NP licensure in the state where services are performed.
• Current DEA license may be required depending on regional requirements.
• ACLS and/or BLS certification may be required depending on regional requirements.
• Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including exceptional customer service.
• Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with doctors, clinical staff, other co-workers and the public.
• Ability to work individually as well as within a team.
• Follow verbal and written instructions; flexible schedule.

Responsabilidades

• Utilizes a multimodal approach to pain management including medications, interventional care, physical therapy and bracing where appropriate.
• Explains procedures or treatments and outlines treatment goals to patients.
• Interprets medical tests within the context of patient care and explains results.
• Completes administrative tasks in a timely manner.
• Monitors patient compliance to treatment plans including UA screens where applicable.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with health information privacy laws.
• Records complete, timely and legible medical records.
• Liaises with other medical professionals related to patient care.
• Keeps up to date with medical developments and shares knowledge with team.
• Coordinates with medical assistants, nurses and other staff; supports clinic operations.
• Promotes the company's core values and participates in marketing as needed.
• Maintains professional knowledge through workshops and publications; builds networks.
