Job summary

Northern Light Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine, is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) to join a Pain Management practice. The team is collaborative, patient-centered, and located in one of New England’s desirable coastal communities.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years post-certification experience, with preference for pain management or related specialties.

• Collaborate with Pain Management physicians, an Advanced Practice Provider, registered nurses, medical assistants, and staff.

Description

Northern Light Mercy Hospital is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) to join its established, successful Pain Management practice in Portland, Maine. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, patient-centered team in one of New England’s most desirable coastal communities.

Candidates should have minimum 2 years of post-certification experience. Experience working in Pain Management, Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, or a related specialty is preferred.

• Monday through Thursday, 8:00-5:00.
• No call responsibilities.
• 288 hours annual PTO, increasing to 328 hours with tenure.

Practice in a Thriving, Well-Supported Environment:

• Deliver evidence-based and hands-on treatment to patients experiencing acute and chronic pain conditions.
• Develop meaningful, long-term relationships with patients through ongoing care and follow-up.
• Collaborate closely with experienced Pain Management physicians, an Advanced Practice Provider, registered nurses, medical assistants, and dedicated administrative staff.

Compensation Information:

• $129,595 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity and quality incentives.
• The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
