VCA Seaside Animal Hospital is offering a unique externship opportunity for veterinary students in Denver, Colorado. Designed for 3rd or 4th-year DVM students, this two-week customizable program allows you to gain hands-on experience alongside dedicated veterinarians while being supported in a positive work culture. Students will gain insights into the day-to-day responsibilities of a veterinarian and have the chance to connect with a welcoming team. This externship also offers the distinct advantage of being paid, enhancing the learning experience.

• Enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year student in an accredited DVM program.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Carry professional liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on veterinary practice.

Requirements

• Enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year student in an accredited DVM program.

• Carry professional liability insurance. AVMA PLIT liability insurance is free for all student members of the AVMA. You may apply for this coverage on their website. Please check to make sure your coverage is current and submit a certificate of coverage with your application.
