Job summary

Ethos Risk Services in St. Louis, MO is seeking an entry-level Private Investigator to launch a career in fraud investigations and covert surveillance.

You will join a fully paid Investigator Training Program, gain field experience, and learn to produce detailed, court-ready reports while adhering to safety and ethics standards.

This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel as needed; weekends and early starts are common.

Qualifications

• Active driver's license that is not currently suspended or revoked.
• A well-maintained vehicle that is reliable (preferably with tinted windows). Proof of auto insurance coverage is required.
• Travel may be required with occasional overnight stays (covered by the company).
• Reliable laptop, cell phone, and internet service for communication and administrative tasks.
• Strong computer & internet proficiency. Excellent communication, verbal & writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Case Preparation: Conduct preliminary investigations using social media and database research.
• Field Surveillance: Perform covert surveillance from your vehicle by tracking and capturing video evidence.
• Report Writing: Draft detailed and court-ready investigative reports summarizing activity and key findings.
• Documentation: Finalize case files by submitting case reports and uploading video footage.
• Communication: Work closely with field supervisor and receive guidance and mentorship.
