Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in a related field during internship.
• Must have completed at least 24 academic credit hours or equivalent.
• Strong writing, computer and communication skills.
• Commit to at least 120 hours during one semester and work evenings.
• May require travel and physical activity up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in camera operation in the field and in the studio.
• Assist audio technicians in the field and in the studio.
• Assist editing footage.
• Assist in creating graphics for programs.
• Assist with on-air promotion production; run teleprompter; log and transcribe video and interviews.
• Research content and schedule guests; provide hospitality for guests appearing on programs; assist producers.
• Support production in Frankfort and Lexington.
