Job summary

Wiley|Wilson is seeking a Summer 2027 paid Structural Engineering intern for our Lynchburg, VA office. Interns work alongside experienced, licensed engineers on real projects within a 100% employee-owned firm.

You will gain hands-on experience with structural design, early project planning, active project work, client meetings, and site visits. The internship is primarily in-office, with some flexibility as arranged with your manager.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Structural Engineering program.
• Completion of at least your second year by summer 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist with structural design and early project planning.
• Work on active projects and attend client meetings.
• Participate in site and construction visits when possible.
