The HHMI Cech Fellows Program offers a nine-week, paid, full-time summer research experience for up to 200 rising juniors and seniors to conduct hands-on research alongside HHMI scientists. Fellows work in HHMI labs across the U.S.

and at Janelia Research Campus in Ashburn, VA, from June 14 to August 12, 2027. Highlights include immersive research with mentorship and development workshops, a stipend of up to $15,000, and an end-of-summer symposium (August 10–12) with travel, lodging, and meals
