Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Northern California's KP LAUNCH College Internship is a paid summer program in Oakland, CA for undergraduates and recent graduates. Interns support administrative and operational teams, with mentorship and opportunities to shadow departments across the service area.

The program runs eight weeks from June to August, offers professional development workshops, and requires an 8am–5pm commitment, Mon–Fri.

Qualifications

• Be 18 to 24 years old by June 1, 2027.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED.
• Be enrolled at a community college, four-year college or university, or vocational/trade school at application time.
• Be available to work full-time for the eight-week program, Monday to Friday 8am–5pm.
• Provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Demonstrate leadership through campus activities, service or prior employment.
• Have permanent residence in Kaiser Permanente's Northern California service area.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a paid eight-week internship in administrative and supporting roles.
• Engage in mentorship and networking activities.
• Attend job shadowing opportunities and professional development workshops.
• Prepare a resume and a personal statement as part of the program process.
