Job summary

Farmer Focus offers a paid Summer Intern program based in Harrisonburg, Virginia. This 10-week, full-time internship provides hands-on learning across business operations with mentorship and project exposure in various departments including Marketing, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, and more.

Responsibilities include supporting projects, maintaining a learning plan with supervisors, and participating in cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited program of study or be a recent graduate.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and complete work dependably.
• Energetic, confident, professional, highly motivated, and team-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Intellectual curiosity, openness to feedback and a strong desire to learn.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including nights or early mornings depending on assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects, assignments, and day-to-day duties while developing skills relevant to the assigned department.
• Work with the internship supervisor to create and actively maintain a learning plan aligned with the intern’s program of study.
• Receive one-on-one mentorship, coaching, and support throughout the internship.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to complete assigned work in a fast-paced business environment.
• Attend all intern events and participate in company-hosted events.
• Perform other duties as assigned that support the learning objectives of the internship.
