Job summary

Constellation is seeking highly motivated engineering students for a 2027 Engineering Internship at our Fitzpatrick nuclear site in Oswego, NY. The 10-week, in-person program starts June 7 and runs through August 13, 2027, with hands-on projects under supervision and technical mentors.

Projects include cooling tower drone inspections, nuclear core analysis, control circuit wiring design, and other engineering challenges designed to provide real-world experience in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering program for Fall 2027.
• Majors include Electrical, Mechanical, Nuclear, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA: 2.8 cumulative and 3.0 in major.
• Strong academic record and teamwork orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist on projects such as Cooling Tower Drone Inspections.
• Contribute to Nuclear Core Analysis and Control Circuit Wiring Design.
• Support Thermal Overload Calculations for Motor Operated Valves.
• Assist Seismic Monitoring Instrumentation Upgrades and related tasks.
• Engage in Weld Overlays Calculations on Feedwater Heater and Hydrogen Electrolyzer Project.
