Job summary

Andersen Construction invites students pursuing construction management, civil/structural engineering, architectural engineering, or related fields to join a paid summer internship in Boise, ID. The program spans 10 to 12 weeks and offers real project responsibility from day one, paired with an Internship Project Supervisor and exposure to live projects across the region.

Responsibilities

• Support project managers and project engineers with submittals, RFIs, subcontractor coordination, closeout documentation, and day-to-day project administration on an active Andersen jobsite.
• Work alongside superintendents and field engineers on layout, quality control, scheduling support, and day-to-day site coordination, gaining hands-on exposure to how a project comes together in the field.
• Support the preconstruction and estimating team with quantity takeoffs, subcontractor bid solicitation, and cost analysis on projects moving through preconstruction.
• Partner with Andersen's safety team on jobsite audits, safety documentation, and program support, building a foundation in construction safety and risk management.
