Vrakas CPAs + Advisors in Brookfield, WI is seeking a Summer 2028 Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience in audit responsibilities across multiple industries.

You will work on Employee Benefit Plan audits, participate in planning, earnings tests, and direct client communication, with mentorship and a supportive learning environment.

Start June 2028, End August 2028, 40 hours/week, in-person, with perks like personal office space, provided electronics, and parking.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Pursuing credit eligibility to sit for the CPA exam.
• Authorized to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.
• Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with audit responsibilities including planning, earnings tests, and direct client communication.
• Work on Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) audits with first-year associate level responsibilities.
• Collaborate in teams across diverse client base and maintain client relationships.
