Job summary

Google's Software Engineering internship program offers a 12-14 week paid internship across North America, with opportunities in Software Engineering or Site-Reliability Engineering.

You will work on a specific project, design, test, deploy and maintain software, and collaborate on multiple smaller projects that affect Google products.

Applicants must be pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields, and must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Master’s degree or post secondary/training in software development or related technical field.
• Experience in software development and coding in two or more general purpose programming languages (e.g., C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
• Experience with data structures or algorithms from school or work.

Responsibilities

• Learn and contribute to projects on scalable, distributed software systems.
• Design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions during the internship.
• Collaborate on multiple smaller projects across Google products.
• Communicate results and findings to teams and mentors.
