Job summary

CED is offering a 10-12 week paid internship designed for candidates who are sales oriented and interested in sales or management. The program provides hands-on exposure to the electrical distribution field through mentoring, on-the-job training, and projects like market sales and customer analysis.

Interns will rotate through warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, counter sales, and other facets, reporting to the Profit Center Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Current, valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future).
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Self-starter who can handle a heavy volume of work and multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Learning all aspects of the CED business.
• Communicating - both written and spoken - in English.
