Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors in Memphis invites applications for a paid 10-12 week Intern program. The internship is designed for candidates geared toward sales and management, offering exposure to all facets of the electrical distribution business through mentoring and on-the-job training.

During the program, interns will rotate through warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, counter sales, and customer relations, with potential special projects such as market analysis.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future)
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to solve problems.
• Self-starter who can handle a heavy volume of work and be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
• Ability to analyze situations in order to make processes more efficient.

Responsibilities
