Job summary
HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital offers a Nurse Residency Program designed to transition new graduates to registered nurses with structured learning experiences and mentorship. Qualifications
- BLS certification required within 30 days of employment.
- ACLS certification required within 1 year of employment.
- Other certifications may be required during employment.
- Degree in nursing (ADN or BSN) required.
- RN license or Graduate Nurse in the state.
- No previous experience needed.
- Some travel may be needed for training.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient condition during admission and shifts; report changes.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other tasks as ordered; document care.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses; escalate as needed.
- Deliver exceptional care by promptly addressing patient requests.
- Educate patients and families about condition, treatment plan, and follow-up.
