Job summary

Matrix Design Group, Inc. is seeking a Spring 2027 Intern - Planning for our Phoenix, AZ office. This 10-week paid internship offers experience in Water Resources and Watershed Sciences, working directly with a manager/director on diverse projects and field work.

Interns gain hands-on exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam and ArcGIS while supporting planning and design tasks. We welcome Juniors, Seniors, and graduate students enrolled in related programs to join our team.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a degree program closely related to Civil Engineering, GIS, Construction Management, Planning, Environmental Services, or Landscape Architecture.
• Junior or Senior in an undergraduate program OR currently enrolled in a Master’s/PhD program.
