Medical City Plano offers a year-long RN Residency program for new graduates, with January–March 2027 cohorts across Med Surg, ICU, PCU, Oncology, ER, NICU, L&D, Mom Baby, and OR/Surgery. As a Resident I Graduate Nurse, you will receive support from educator nurses, participate in monthly sessions, and complete a guided evidence-based practice project while delivering

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse license in TX or Graduate Nurse status.
• Some travel may be needed for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and during shifts; report changes.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or treatments as ordered; document care.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Provide timely, compassionate care; respond to patient requests.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, plans, medications, and follow-up steps.
