We're looking for a Paid Marketing Analyst to join our growing US Marketing team in Austin, supporting our Paid Marketing efforts. In this role, you'll own the numbers behind our paid social and paid search campaigns — building the reporting, running the tests, and surfacing the insights that tell us what's working and why — and use those insights to directly shape and produce the ad creative itself. You'll work closely with our Performance Marketing and Local Marketing teams in the US.
This is a data-driven and creative role — most of your time will be spent in the numbers, with the rest spent turning what you learn into the next a to improve campaign performance.
Note: This role is based in Austin, Texas.
What You'll OwnData & Analytics:
Own performance reporting and dashboards across paid social and paid search (Meta, TikTok, Google Ads)
Analyze campaign‑and‑creative-level metrics (CTR, CPA, ROAS, conversion rate) to identify trends, drop-offs, and opportunities
Design and run structured A/B tests (creative variants, hooks, audiences, bidding strategies) with proper test design and statistically sound read‑outs
Pull and model data from ad platforms and internal sources (SQL or similar) to automate recurring reporting
Partner with the Performance Marketing and Local Marketing teams in the US to turn findings into budget allocation and channel strategy recommendations
Track and forecast key paid marketing KPIs, and flag anomalies before they become problems
Hands-On Creative Execution:
Design and edit ad creative (static, video, and copy) for paid social and paid search campaigns, using your own performance data as the starting brief
Run creative tests (A/B variants, hooks, formats) and iterate quickly based on what the data tells you
Adapt creative across formats and placements to fit each platform's best practices
Ensure creatives are on‑brand and consistent with ShopBack's voice and visual guidelines
Ideally 2 to 4 years of experience in marketing analytics, performance/growth marketing, or a similarly data‑driven marketing function
Strong Excel/Sheets skills; SQL proficiency strongly preferred
Experience analyzing paid social and/or paid search data (Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads Manager)
Ability to translate data into clear, decision‑ready narratives for non‑technical stakeholders
Hands‑on experience with design or editing tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut) — you'll be producing and editing ad creative yourself, not just briefing it
Genuine curiosity about why ad creative performs, paired with the willingness to go build the next version based on what the data says
Detail‑oriented and organized, able to manage multiple concurrent analysis and creative requests against deadlines
Prior experience in e‑commerce, cashback, fintech, or rewards is a plus
Familiarity with AI tools for analysis, reporting, or workflow automation
