Job summary

UPS invites undergrad students in Computer Science, Information Security or IT to join the 2027 InfoSec Summer Internship in Atlanta, GA & Alpharetta, GA. The role focuses on real time threat responses, data analytics, and supporting internal customers with technical solutions.

The internship emphasizes hands-on projects across Cloud, SQL, Power BI and programming (Python/Java) with a bilingual edge being a plus. Typical 40-hour weeks June–August, with a paid opportunity at UPS.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate student in a degree program related to Information Security, Computer Science or IT.
• Available for Summer internship and able to work 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) during June–August.

Responsibilities

• Support real time threat responses and protection of data across UPS systems.
• Provide onsite technical support to internal customers and assist with data analytics to improve internal tools.
• Work on projects that vary by team within InfoSec depending on assignment.
• Demonstrate effective communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
