Job summary

This role provides hands-on experience supporting geotechnical laboratory testing, field inspections, laboratory operations, and reporting under supervision of seasoned engineers and technicians.

The position welcomes CPT and university-approved internship programs; hours vary by project, with flexible scheduling and compensation for all hours worked.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Civil/Geotechnical/Geological/Earth sciences or related field encouraged to apply.
• Previous laboratory, construction materials testing, geotechnical, or engineering experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical laboratory testing and/or field inspections as assigned.
• Assist with soil sample management and inventory tracking.
• Document testing and inspections using approved procedures and reporting methods.
• Generate reports and perform data entry with accuracy.
• Support the Geotechnical Team on engineering and laboratory projects.
