Job summary

Leggett & Platt Incorporated invites applications for a paid FP&A Internship aimed at building hands-on expertise in corporate finance. You’ll engage in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while supporting the growth of a data-driven FP&A function in PHC US.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields, with strong Excel skills and a drive to learn within a manufacturing leader.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and financial data analysis.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• FP&A function development – support establishment and enhancement of FP&A processes for PHC US.
• Financial reporting & analysis – assist with monthly reporting, variance analysis, and summaries.
• Budgeting & forecasting – help gather inputs, maintain models, support cycles.
• Data management & validation – collect, reconcile, and validate data for accuracy.
• Modeling & tools – assist with developing financial models, templates, dashboards.
• Business support – provide analytical support for ad-hoc requests from finance leadership.
• Process improvement – help document FP&A workflows and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
