Job summary

C&S Wholesale Grocers invites motivated students for a 12-week paid internship in Keene, NH, focused on Demand Planning. You will assist in daily ops, prepare reports, and collaborate to improve processes while gaining exposure to forecasting, data interpretation, and cross‑department projects.

Applicants should be pursuing a degree in SCM, analytics, statistics, data science, or operations management, with strong Excel skills and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college.
• Will have completed their Sophomore year by the start of the internship.
• In good academic standing, with a preferred minimum GPA of 3.0
• Majoring in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science or Operations Management
• Proficient with Google’s suite of products; Microsoft Excel required
• Able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Bring curiosity, initiative and willingness to learn and contribute

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and other documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.
• Aid in further enhancing department tools, templates and methodologies
• Gain exposure and knowledge on department functionalities
• Develop positive professional relationships across departments
• Complete special projects as assigned by your manager
• Complete an end‑of‑internship presentation to showcase learning objectives
• Collect, review, cleanse, and interpret data on customer buying habits
• Utilize data to create forecasts of demand from customers
• Research past trends to aid in future efforts
• Work with internal stakeholders and customers to implement findings from research
