Holmes Murphy in West Des Moines, IA is offering a Finance Intern – Summer 2027 for a 10-week, on-site internship. You will work with our Finance team gaining exposure to financial reporting, vendor payables, treasury, and accounts receivable while supporting reconciliations and ad hoc data requests.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
• Prior work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to the finance team including financial reporting, insurance and vendor payables, treasury and accounts receivable.
• Assist accounts receivable with recording payments and validating work.
• Prepare reconciliations and assist reconciling information to the general ledger.
• Analyze financial data and assist in documenting internal controls and processes.
• Assist in transitioning client accounts and handling ad hoc requests.
