Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business-related field with special consideration for Accounting, Finance, or Economic degrees.
• Ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
• Basic understanding of financial systems and general accounting concepts.
• Ability to interact effectively with and develop strong relationships and partnerships with employees at all levels and in different functions.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounting activities, including general ledger support, account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and financial record maintenance.
• Help prepare month-end financial reports, schedules, and supporting materials for internal review and decision-making.
• Assist with financial analysis, budgeting support, data organization, and reporting projects that help identify trends, explain variances, and improve financial visibility.
• Maintain clear documentation for finance processes, procedures, reports, and project work while following internal controls and confidentiality expectations.
• Contribute to a finance-related internship project that supports process improvement, reporting efficiency, financial analysis, or other business needs of the Foundation.
