North Gateway Animal Hospital in West Virginia offers a DVM Student Externship across our two thriving sites. This paid externship provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and flexible scheduling for 1st–4th year AVMA-accredited veterinary students.

You will work under 1:1 mentorship, gaining exposure to preventive care, wellness exams, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and farm/home visits, while contributing to compassionate pet care and client communication.

Qualifications

• Active AVMA-accredited veterinary student.
• Eligible students are in 1st–4th year.
• Must be a team player with strong communication.
