Job summary

Tippmann Construction, part of the Tippmann Group, seeks a Project Management Intern to assist day-to-day PM activities on active job sites in Fort Wayne, IN. You will work with mentors and a full PM team to sequence work, take-offs, and subcontractor coordination, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role focuses on learning project management processes, tools, and client coordination while gaining hands-on experience in planning, sourcing, and communication across project teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS or AS in Construction Management or related field
• Experience in Construction Management is a plus
• OSHA 10/30 preferred (training provided)
• Ability to learn quickly and solve problems
• Strong communication and detail orientation
• Self-starter with limited supervision
• Proficient with MS Office incl. Excel and Project

Responsibilities

• Establish construction project plans and schedules days, weeks, and months in advance
• Execute material take-offs and source materials
• Prepare bid documents and source subcontractors
• Initiate subcontractor work and ensure timeliness and quality
• Manage project execution per Tippmann Safety Standards
• Use Tippmann internal systems to maintain communication
• Communicate concisely about all aspects of the project
• Other duties as required
