Elderwood at Lancaster invites applicants to join a CNA Training Program designed to give hands-on experience in healthcare. Trainees will be employed for 15-60 days before entering a CNA training course with pay during training.

Upon certification, rates adjust and CNAs can earn up to $18.70. The program covers CNA certification testing and onboarding requirements, with structured three-week training Monday–Friday.

Formación

• Must be at least 16 years old and eligible to obtain an Employment Certificate/Permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment or misappropriation of property.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English at an intermediate or higher level.

Responsabilidades

• Transport residents or accompany ambulatory residents to various locations.
• Make unoccupied resident beds as assigned.
• Assist in dining room with food service to residents under supervision.
• Distribute supplemental nourishments to residents who do not need to be fed.
• Conduct informal activities on the nursing unit when time permits.
• Supply fresh water in residents' rooms as directed.
• Prepare bed and bedwear for residents at hour of sleep.
• Help keep nursing unit areas neat and orderly.
