Job summary

Life Care Center of Carrollton is opening enrollment for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program. You will receive your CNA certification while being paid during the training period.

The Nurse Aide in Training role supports licensed nurses in delivering routine daily care and ensuring patient safety in a post-acute care setting. CPR certification is required by orientation and must be kept current.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program and able to work up to four months.
• CPR certification required upon hire or obtained during orientation and maintained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Lift, turn, move, position, and transport patients under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Help patients with baths, showers, grooming, feeding, and toileting under supervision.
• Accurately document and chart patient care.
• Respond to call lights promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism with patients.
• Assist in evacuation of patients when needed.
• Maintain dependable attendance and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.

Education
