Job summary

This paid, temporary internship requires PharmD or PhD students, commutable to Princeton, and full-time hours May 25 to August 20, 2027,

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a doctoral degree in pharmacy, pharmaceutical science, pharmacometrics, systems biology, applied mathematics, engineering, or a related field with graduation by Spring 2029.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, PK/PD, and biostatistics.
• Experience with coding and data visualization of clinical data.
• Familiarity with Phoenix WinNonlin, NONMEM, or R and pharmacometrics modeling is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills.
• Available for full-time May 25 2027 to August 20 2027, commutable to Princeton.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Learn the role of clinical pharmacology in drug development.
• Understand global regulatory guidance (FDA, EMA, PMDA) relevant to clinical pharmacology strategy.
• Analyze and interpret clinical pharmacology study data.
• Learn how model-informed drug development enhances dose selection and overall development strategies.
• Conduct literature reviews to address scientific challenges or inform study/project design.
• Learn and apply commonly used clinical pharmacology software tools.
• Present findings or project outcomes at the department level.
• Gain insight into various study designs of clinical pharmacology studies.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the US and Japan.
