Job summary

Voter Education Project is hiring canvassers in Nevada to mobilize voters during the 2026 election cycle. You will engage communities, share information about elections and ballot measures, and encourage participation.

Flexible evenings and weekends required to cover targeted neighborhoods across multiple cities in Nevada. Ideal candidates are organized, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously; prior canvassing or political engagement experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write clearly.
• Reliable transportation to assignments.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be available to work every assigned day.
• Able to walk or stand for 5–8 hours daily.

Locations:Various Cities in Nevada

Job Type: Canvasser

Duration: August 2026 to November 2026 (Election Cycle)

Work Schedule: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Position Summary: You will play a crucial role in our efforts to mobilize and empower voters in specific U.S. based states and territories. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with community members, provide them with accurate and relevant information about upcoming elections, candidates, and important ballot measures, and encourage them to participate in the electoral process. This position offers an excellent opportunity to directly impact the local community, promote civic participation, and contribute to the democratic process.

• Previous experience and knowledge within these roles are a plus!

Required Qualifications:

• The skill and ability to write and read.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Completion of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Applicants must be able to work every day as assigned.
• Physical ability to walk and/or stand for 5-8 hours a day.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• Previous experience in political and/or electoral engagement.
• Strong knowledge of field strategy, targeting, and metrics.
• Knowledge and experience of Canvassing Software and Platforms

Salary:

• $22 - $27 per hour (Role & Project Based, Varies)
