Qualifications

Enrolled in Trenholm State Automotive Service Technology program or willing to enroll.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in automotive industry.
Willingness to learn, take direction, and work as part of a team.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist certified technicians with routine maintenance and repair work (oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, inspections).
Learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer-controlled vehicle systems under supervision.
Rotate through service areas to build well-rounded skills.
Use diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and Ford-specific software/resources.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per standards.
Document work performed, parts used, and findings.
Progress through skill checkpoints and evaluations.
