CHS Inc. is offering an Agronomy Sales Intern position in Sycamore, IL for Summer 2027.

The intern will work closely with the Agronomy Sales team to support crop scouting, soil sampling, and customer service, gaining hands-on experience in agronomy products and farm operations. The role emphasizes practical training, mentorship from seasoned professionals, and exposure to CHS’s agronomy portfolio, field trials, and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an agriculture-related degree program (e.g., Ag Business or Crop Science).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.
• Previous internship experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist Agronomy Sales Representative with crop scouting, soil sampling, and field agronomic problem solving.
• Design, monitor, and summarize farm trails to provide information to customers and the agronomy team.
• Use integrated pest management techniques to determine treatment thresholds.
• Generate written reports and present them to supervisor and/or customer.
• Learn features and benefits of all agronomy products and services, assist with over-the-counter sales, and assist with product delivery to customers.
• Learn and utilize Agris for invoicing and inventory management.
• Assist in inventory management procedures.
• Work in and maintain an environment compliant with CHS Environmental and Safety policy.
