Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care for a travel nursing job in Great Bend, Kansas. This PACU RN role is a 13-week assignment with 40 hours per week, on days with a 10-hour shift in a travel capacity.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and ACLS, and be able to provide safe, high-quality postoperative care. Join a fast-paced PACU team and support patient recovery across diverse age groups.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 1 year of acute care RN experience preferred.
• PACU or perioperative experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Observe and care for post-anesthesia patients as they recover.
• Monitor patients for vital changes and complications.
• Coordinate with physicians and OR staff for timely transfers.
• Maintain safety and infection control in PACU setting.
