Texas Health Huguley in Burleson, Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse for the PACU. This full-time day-shift role involves assessing patients on arrival, monitoring vitals, and administering medications according to hospital policies.

You will communicate with the care team, document patient responses, and ensure a safe PACU environment. Requirements include an Associate's Nursing degree (Bachelor's preferred) and current RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.
• 1+ RN experience with surgical patients required.
• 1+ ICU/Recovery experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status upon arrival to PACU and perform ongoing assessments.
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations per PACU protocol.
• Document actions and communicate with anesthesia/charge nurse/surgeon.
• Administer medications per hospital policies and monitor responses.
• Maintain a clean, safe, stocked PACU and relay orders accurately.
