Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide post-operative care in a fast-paced environment. You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and respond to complications while coordinating with surgical and anesthesia teams.

This role includes on-call availability during select non-business hours and requires ACLS/BLS compliance, RN licensure, and a nursing diploma.

Qualifications

• ACLS certification required within 30 days of start date.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• RN licensure in good standing.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or higher nursing education.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the PACU setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including surgeons and anesthesia.
• Independently deliver safe nursing care using the nursing process and clinical judgment.
• Monitor patient condition, document changes, and communicate updates.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
