Elliot Health System in New Hampshire is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to care for patients recovering from anesthesia. You will monitor vital signs, manage pain relief, and collaborate with physicians and the care team to provide safe, efficient post-operative care.

In this fast-paced setting you will educate families, assist with discharge planning, document care thoroughly, and offer emotional support to patients and loved ones during recovery.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• NH RN license or Compact state RN license.
• BLS qualification during orientation; ACLS preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor vital signs and assess patients.
• Provide comfort measures during recovery.
• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families on recovery progress.
• Assist with discharge planning and safe transition home.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure best care.
• Document patient care in medical records accurately.
