Job summary

Trinity Health Hospital Campus in Minot, ND is seeking an experienced RN in Post-Anesthesia Recovery to provide specialized care for patients emerging from anesthesia. You will monitor ventilation, hemodynamics, administer medications, and support safe transitions to the next unit or discharge.

The role requires ND RN licensure or compact license, BLS; ACLS/PALS within 6 months, and TNCC after orientation. Strong teamwork and rapid response skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current ND RN license or compact RN licensure.
• BLS within orientation; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
• TNCC course within PACU orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients transitioning from anesthesia, including airway patency and vitals.
• Administer medications, manage IV access, support airway and oxygenation, respond to changes.
• Provide postoperative education and discharge instructions.
• Document assessments and interventions in the EHR for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, surgery, and postoperative units for safe transfer.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
