Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta is seeking a Registered Professional Nurse to independently plan and provide professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing school, valid Georgia RN license in good standing, and current BLS certification; preferred BSN and up to two years of RN experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP or other certifications encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Licensed RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations.
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• BSN degree preferred; two years of RN experience; ACLS/PALS/NRP or other clinical specialty certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Plans and provides professional nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and established guidelines.
• Operates within the scope of practice as defined by the Georgia Nurse Practice Act.
