Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using nursing processes within hospital policies and procedures.

The role requires GA RN licensure, BCLS, and willingness to meet the needs of a dynamic hospital setting. New graduates are eligible; hospital experience is preferred, with a preference for those having 1 year of hospital experience for PRN

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred).
• RN licensure in Georgia (required).
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) Certification (Required).
• Advanced certification in specialty area (if applicable).
• New Graduates eligible; no experience required.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability within organizational policies and procedures.
