Qualifikationen

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a current Florida license.
• BLS or ACLS certification or ability to obtain.
• 0-1 year of experience is required.
• Must be IV certified, depending on site.
• Must be capable of performing all clinical tasks relevant to licensure/training.

Aufgaben

• Monitor vital signs, breathing, oxygen levels, and heart rhythm.
• Assess the patient's level of consciousness as they wake from anesthesia.
• Manage pain, nausea, and other post-anesthesia symptoms.
• Monitor for bleeding or respiratory problems.
• Administer medications and IV fluids.
• Ensure the patient meets discharge or transfer criteria.
• Communicate patient condition to surgeon, anesthesiologist, and receiving unit.
• Maintain study logs and site relations.
• Ensure proper collection, processing, and shipment of laboratory specimens.
• Oversee administration of investigational medication per protocol.
